GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE Wednesday 30th September 2020
CQLX combined agents yarded a total of 3,426, comprising of 1,643 steers, 1,393 heifers, 363 cows 8 bulls and 19 cows & calves. Cattle were drawn from Nebo Middlemount, Mackay, Gin Gin and all local areas. The prime market lifted on last week’s rates, with well finished cows fetching a premium. Store cows held firm. Heavy feeder steers and heifers gained momentum following other major selling centres. No.9 steers and weaner steers were once again well sort after with competition holding prices firm. The weaner heifers experienced a dearer trend with re-stockers securing the better lines.
