GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE WEDNESDAY 1st JULY 2026
Gracemere Combined Agents saw a steady yarding this week with a total of 2,163 head, consisting of 914 Steers, 840 Heifers, 268 Cows, 5 Cows & Calves, 109 mickies & 27 Bulls. Today’s Gracemere market saw the fat job hold firm upon last week, with slaughter weight steers coming into a firmer market. Feeder steers saw a slight softening but still met with strong competition, carrying into backgrounder weights. Weaner steers also held firm depending on quality. Feeder heifers saw a dearer market, with buoyancy on heifers meeting the 70 and 100 day weights. Weaner heifers felt cheaper, due to a lack of weight and quality.
