GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE WEDNESDAY 12th AUGUST 2026
Gracemere Combined Agents saw a decreased yarding this week with a total of 2,890 head, consisting of 799 Steers, 1,058 Heifers, 856 Cows, 57 Cows & Calves, 76 mickies & 44 Bulls. Meatworks cattle softened ten cents overall. Increased yarding of store conditions cows reflecting the current weather conditions. Genuine feeder steers topped out at 458.2c/kg. A VGQ run of genuine brahman feeder steers made to a top of 436.2c/kg. Backgrounder and weaner steers saw a softening of ten to fifteen cents across the board. Feeder heifers remained firm with on last week’s rates despite increased numbers. Weaner heifers remained firm on quality soft types.
