GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE WEDNESDAY 22ND APRIL 2026
Gracemere Combined Agents yarding a total of 2,172 head this week, consisting of 1,070 Steers, 590 Heifers, 417 Cows, 12 Cows & Calves, 52 mickies & 31 Bulls. The fat market remained solid upon last week, with a softening in second rate cattle. Feeder steers remained firm across the board, although without the highs from last week’s sale. Feeder heifers saw a large strengthening in price due to increased numbers & quality. Re-stocker steers met outstanding competition to achieve a solid average for the quality of calves presented, with Brahman steers increasing significantly. Weaner heifers were stronger on last week’s prices and achieved stronger demand for the correct articles.
